Applied is a one-handed device that ensures that packing labels are centered along one axis of a box in an orderly fashion. It is designed for people with cognitive and physical disabilities to help them become more independent in the workplace.

The Applied device has two main components that help it carry out its function. The first is two manually adjustable synchronized “legs” that can slide in and out to fit onto a package. As one leg is slid out, the other slides out at the same rate, ensuring that the gear box and label applicator are centered, in one axis, on the package. This ensures that the label applier is fixed onto the package and can apply cleanly. The second component of the device is the label dispensers, demonstrated by the blue accessory in the model. The dispenser starts at the anterior side of the device and can be slid across the box along the grey bars to seamlessly apply its tape contents. This is done manually by the user, by holding the blue handle and sliding it, which can be done one handedly. This design allows for tape to be applied in a straight manner and neat manner, ensuring that it will be properly processed.
